pozzetronics Mathy enough for my jazzy brain but smooth enough to have in the background while at work. Excellent! Favorite track: Torpor.
John Hassett
John Hassett thumbnail
John Hassett These guys give me hope for the future of music: they effortlessly and expertly fuse many sounds and techniques, which together make me feel as if Tigran Hamasyan, Philip Glass, the Esbjorn Svensson Trio, and Kataoka Manaka all had one giant jazz-fueled orgy. The composition in the album is unrivaled, but I highly recommend watching the live performance (youtu.be/FvY8pb-KPwI), which injects a whole new level of technicality into the pieces.

The Nonsemble
The Nonsemble thumbnail
The Nonsemble Well, as we often mention, there is a large lean toward "... Left of Center" here at The Nonsemble. So... as with Pink Freud, Robotobibok and many others, these cats' Polish Punk-Jazz is right up our street and down a dark alley! loving too many tracks to pick a favorite... next time!

about

Immortal Onion Gdańsk, Poland

The classification of Immortal Onion's music is rather challenging, as the musicians are not afraid to refer to many music genres. Their songs are influenced, among others by jazz, film music, minimalism, fusion, electronic music, and even progressive metal. In spite of this divergence in the styles they rotate in, they have succeeded in creating their own recognisable language. ... more
